Director's Notes
Despite the title this play is "dead funny" with a "dead strong cast". A cross between The Golden Girls and The Odd Couple. It revolves around three New York Jewish widows. We follow them through laughter and tears as they prepare to get on with their lives without their husbands.
We welcome Wendy Duggan to the Garrick stage for the first time, Wendy is well known in Hyndburn for her acting and directing. Cathleen Foster, Cynthia Sanderson and John Whittaker appear after varying lengths of absence and Kathleen Riley returns after her brilliant portrayal of Sylvia in our first production This Happy Breed.
